Bluesocket Inc., the fast-growing developer of Wireless Local Area Network solutions for securely connecting and managing wireless devices to corporate networks and the Internet, today announced the promotion of David Juitt to Chief Technology Officer.

"His past success as Bluesocket?s Chief Security Architect, proven dedication, creativity and management skills warrants David?s elevation to this important role."
Prior to joining Bluesocket, Juitt was chief information security officer for Redwood Investment Systems of Boston, directing all aspects of security policy and secure product development, including the development of a patent-pending security solution for wireless handheld devices. Before that, he was department head for GTE Laboratories? secure systems research, delivering security consulting throughout the corporation.
Previous to GTE, Juitt ran his own security and technology consulting firm. He spent nine years at Digital Equipment Corporation, starting as a software engineer in 1986 and promoted to principal engineer. Before that, he was on the technical staff at MITRE Corporation.
A published author of numerous technical articles and frequent public speaker, Juitt received his bachelor of computer science degree from Northeastern University, Boston.
