Bluesocket, a developer of wireless networks for portable devices based on the Bluetooth™ and 802.11b standards, today announced it has appointed noted security engineer David Neal Juitt as its chief security architect. Juitt will be responsible for ensuring network security policies for the company's product line.
"David Juitt brings 16 years experience in secure systems engineering, networking principles and protocols to Bluesocket," said David Crosbie, Bluesocket CEO. Bluesocket's initial product line consists of a Management Server and Radio Access Points (RAPs) for Bluetooth and 802.11b. The RAPs are small wireless base stations installed in an office environment.
