Bluesocket Achieves SpectraLink VIEW Certification for Enterprise Wireless Voice Interoperability

BURLINGTON, Mass. - February 7, 2007 - Bluesocket, Inc., (www.bluesocket.com)the leader in open wireless network, security and management solutions, today announced that its BlueSecure? Access Points have achieved SpectraLink?s (Nasdaq: SLNK) Voice Interoperability for Enterprise Wireless (VIEW) Certification.

SpectraLink's VIEW testing certifies the capability of Bluesocket's BlueSecure 1500 and 1540 Access Points to interoperate with SpectraLink?s NetLink Wireless Telephones while achieving excellent voice quality. In order for Bluesocket to pass the VIEW Certification, its BlueSecure Access Points were required to maintain low latency and jitter in all test scenarios, including Access Point handoff and heavy load conditions, while WPA security was enabled. The BlueSecure Access Points use the SpectraLink Voice Priority (SVP) quality of service technique to provide highest voice quality and maximum battery life to NetLink handsets.

Bluesocket's BlueSecure Access Points are next-generation, "thin" access points that work in conjunction with BlueSecure Controllers for enterprise wireless LAN (WLAN) deployments. BlueSecure Access Points feature dual radios supporting 802.11 a/b/g in a plenum-rated housing with fixed omni-directional antennas (Model AP-1500) and optional external antennas (Model AP-1540).
